We are looking forward to a special event with Bon Iver at Hollywood Forever this weekend. We have been receiving a lot of questions about this unique event so we will try to answer all your questions here.
Please remember that the event will be taking place outdoors during the night/early morning so bring warm clothing and we highly suggest picnic blankets.
Doors for entry will be at midnight Saturday (September 26th) and the actual show will be taking place a little before sunrise at approximately at 5:50am Sunday morning (September 27th).
For those of you who are coming to spend the night with us, there will be light/mellow entertainment that has been selected by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver.
This includes (times are approx):
Musical playlist selected by Justin Vernon throughout the evening
A screening of a feature film at 1:30 am
Projected background visuals later in the evening
A special surprise to ease everyone from their slumber or otherwise at 5:25 am
Bon Iver at 5:50 AM
You are welcome to bring: blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, food, drinks and still personal cameras (sorry no professional cameras or video cameras).
You may NOT bring: tents, coolers, chairs of any kind, dogs/pets.
We will provide free pastries (1 per person please). Free coffee will be provided by Gospel Swamp Coffee all evening. There will be water and other non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the event.
There will be ins and outs. However, for crowd and safety issues we highly suggest you grab everything you will need for the night from your vehicle on entry.
