A San Franciscan in NY

: [I walk onto the 1 downtown]
Lady: You're a Giants fan? (points to my hat)
Me: Yeah! You?
Lady: Oh yeah.
Me: You from the bay?
Lady: Yeah. Fremont.
Me: Hah! Me too.
: (Blah, high schools, Giants, NY life. Blah. Actually it was a great conversation, just decided to shorten it.)
: I have been stopped so many times in NY because of my SF hat. Its a wonderful calling card to other bay kids out here, especially during the playoffs. From walking home in Brooklyn super late and a guy just nods and points at the hat when you walk by each other or conversations like above, we stick together. I always try to at least smile at someone in a SF hat, so they feel the bay love. Everyone tends to agree: San Francisco is the greatest, but you can't beat NY.

We just got swanky new offices in Manhattan. A major upgrade from the shitty rented offices we used in the flatiron with no windows. This is the view from mine and Dan’s office… with a door… and with windows.
For those who hate filters, here is the original.

I got on the Instagr.am train via Scott a little over a week ago. I am totally hooked. I haven’t been this excited about taking pictures on the iPhone since ShakeIt came out back in the day. Its social, free, easy, and fun.
