This video Darryl reblogged made me BOL (bellow out loud) I liked it so much.
Just learned about Karmin and already I know too much.

I went to SXSW for the first time, and had a blast. The FoD party was incredible and all of the music was A+ very good. I feel like a mess— so I think I did it right! I WON SXSW!

I went to Costa Rica for a couple weeks. Took my camera and got a few NEATO shots. Whenever I decide to make a real NateMaggio.com again, I will post all the goodies.

When I lived in SF with Hills we had a polaroid by the door. Anyone that visited (friends/family/strangers) got their picture on the wall. I had the pictures just sitting in a drawer and I finally scanned them. The only logical next step is to GIF them.

You know, I am tired of all these niche blogs. Are they funny still? I’m not saying failblog, i can haz, and fucking hipsters weren’t good… but all these new ones are funny for literally seconds. Seconds.

I set the gif in Helvetica, that should please some people. Oh, and don’t make any of those real. Even irony won’t save that joke. :)

An update came out for ShakeItPhoto, a favorite app of mine on the iPhone. One of the things you can now do, is take a pre existing photo and add the effect to it. Pretty cool. So I tried it out. Then I got the brilliant idea to try it again on the previously effected picture. The border stuck out a little and the contrast was bumped up a bit. Kinda cool.

Long story short, it was late (it still is) and I was super bored and couldn’t sleep. I may or may not have done it ~90 times and then made a GIF out of it. Don’t worry though, it is super anticlimatic. Enjoy:
